The Role of Physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist at our facility, you will primarily work with specialized rehabilitation in psychiatry. You will be part of the resources at the rehabilitation center and work with the psychiatric clinic, where you will be part of a unit with occupational therapists and dietitians. Rehabilitation involves early, coordinated, and comprehensive efforts from various areas of expertise and services. Your work will include assessment, treatment, planning, and rehabilitation of patients with mental health issues, both in acute and planned outpatient care together with the patient and their relatives. You will also work to improve lifestyle habits for patients with severe mental health issues. You can work both individually and in groups and collaborate on rehabilitation issues, in teams, and also with actors outside the region.

The rehabilitation center is a regional shared service where different competencies and experiences support the development of the patient, the profession, and rehabilitation from a holistic perspective. Regardless of where in the region one lives, patients should have access to equitable rehabilitation of good quality.

Approximately 300 employees work within the rehabilitation center across 11 areas with a cross-professional composition based on a person-centered approach.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who wants to work in a hospital in close collaboration with other professions, both in departments and outpatient clinics. Previous experience in rehabilitation within psychiatry is desirable. Regardless of previous experiences, we want you to share our ambition to constantly develop to meet patients' needs!
