Vetlanda Public Dental Care is a wonderful team of 20 dedicated colleagues representing various ages and competencies - long experience and fresh knowledge. We are now looking for a new clinic coordinator for the clinic. An opportunity for you in dentistry who has an interest in leadership and wants to motivate and develop others.

The Role of Clinic Coordinator

As a clinic coordinator, you will be part of the clinic management together with the clinic manager, and you will jointly lead the daily operations. You will support the clinic manager in planning, steering, developing, and managing the staff and operations. Together, you will ensure a well-functioning communication flow between clinic management and staff and steer the clinic towards the set goals. One of the goals is to work together based on common guidelines in accordance with the concept of "one Public Dental Care".

The role of clinic coordinator is varied, and you will work daily with both small and large tasks. You are the spider in the web at the clinic. This includes, among other things, schedule planning, economic and personnel issues. The position also includes driving the development of the operations. As a clinic coordinator, you need to be self-sufficient and thrive in a role where you are responsible for daily leadership, and where you can independently make decisions within the framework of your position. But you will not be alone – the position also requires that you have close cooperation with the clinic manager.

Vetlanda Public Dental Care is part of a working group with collaborating public dental clinics in the same geographical area. In the working group, there is a wealth of collective experience among the clinic coordinators. They will be important sounding boards and colleagues for you.

If you have a basic profession within dentistry, you will, in addition to the work as a clinic coordinator, also have the opportunity to work a small part of your working time in your basic profession.

The position of clinic coordinator is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible.

Your Profile

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained dental nurse or licensed dental hygienist with several years of work experience from Public Dental Care in the Region of Jönköping County. If you have another background in dentistry, you are also welcome to apply. We would like you to have leadership training. If you have experience in a role similar to that of a clinic coordinator, it is an advantage, but the most important thing for us is your personal qualities and your strong interest in leading people and processes. This is not a role for everyone – but the right person makes a big difference.

As a clinic coordinator, you are an employer representative who takes great responsibility. Acting in accordance with decisions made, operational plans, and policies is obvious to you. You have an interest in leadership, you are communicative, attentive, and have good collaboration skills. Together with the clinic management and the clinic's staff, you create engagement and participation.

You are flexible and thrive in an environment that can quickly have new conditions. You see what needs to be done and can independently take initiatives and decisions. You see the whole picture, and in situations with various forms of high pressure, you remain calm, controlled, and focus on the right things. You have integrity and the ability to stand up for what is right and maintain your employer role even in pressured situations. Furthermore, you are structured and plan your work efficiently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and knowledge of the T4 system are advantageous, as well as a B driver's license.
