JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed nurse for night shifts in municipal health and medical care.

The position is full-time for night shifts and corresponds to 31 hours per week, with weekend shifts every third week according to a fixed, rolling schedule. The work is mainly scheduled at night with fixed working hours.

The assignment is independent and qualified, where your clinical judgment is crucial for the patients' safety and security.

You are responsible for providing safe and professional care to patients in both ordinary housing and special housing. Nighttime work requires particular independence, prioritization skills, and the ability to make well-founded clinical decisions.

The work is conducted within clear frameworks and with the support of established methods and collaboration.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Making medical assessments and taking necessary actions
• Managing medication, wound care, and other nursing interventions
• Providing palliative care with a focus on safety, symptom relief, and dignity
• Working safely with patients and preventing issues according to current routines
• Providing guidance and support to nursing staff
• Collaborating with colleagues, on-call doctors, and other healthcare providers as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Driver's license (B)
• Good ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a nurse at night or in on-call services
• Experience in municipal health and medical care
• Specialist training in district, geriatrics, or psychiatry
• Experience in palliative care
