The Role of ST-Doctor

We are looking for a resident doctor in general medicine. The position is a permanent employment at 100% with start date according to agreement.

For those who will do basic training (BT) at the beginning of your ST, a temporary employment may initially be relevant with the aim of the employment transitioning to a permanent position. If you have completed your AT, we can offer you a permanent position as ST. RJL has a concept for BT that benefits both you as an employee and the workplace.

The Bra Liv Health Centers are the regionally driven primary care in Jönköping County and consist of 33 health centers. We collaborate with Bra Liv Vetlanda Health Center regarding doctor meetings, training, and on-call duties. Similarly, with the rehabilitation unit and psychosocial team. We are well-equipped in terms of equipment and have ultrasound at the health center. We set clear goals and want to constantly develop and improve. Landsbro Health Center consists of about 10 employees serving over 3100 registered patients. We are the small, close, and personal health center that works for good care and service of the highest quality.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level)
  • Has a driver's license
  • Can work independently but also together with various professional groups
  • Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good communication
  • Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us
  • Can absorb new knowledge and function as a knowledge resource for your colleagues
  • Can adapt your work, communication, and approach based on the patient and situation
  • Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment

As a resident doctor, your ST planning will be done in collaboration between you, your supervisor, your manager, and the study director. With us, you will receive continuous supervision from experienced district doctors. The resident doctors in the healthcare area meet regularly with the study director. We are very proud of our ST program. Collaboration with Futurum, the research and education unit of Region Jönköping County, and Qulturum, the region's unit for operational development and improvements, also makes it possible to develop within research or towards a future leadership role.
