Summer Night Shift Temporary Positions within the Social Services Administration – Gislaved Municipality

Do you want to make a difference for other people – even at night? We are now looking for summer temporary staff willing to work night shifts within the social services operations in Gislaved Municipality.

Job Responsibilities

As night staff, you will work to provide care, support, and supervision to users within our operations, such as:

  • Nursing homes
  • Functional support / LSS
  • Social psychiatry
  • Home care services

The work includes, among other things:

  • Creating security and presence during the night
  • Assisting with care needs
  • Documenting and collaborating with colleagues
  • Handling situations that may arise at night

Qualifications

  • Are responsible, calm, and secure in your approach
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Can work independently as well as in a team
  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Hold a B-class driver's license (required for home care services)

Experience working in healthcare and social services is an asset, but personal suitability is also important.

About the Employment

Type: Summer temporary position – night shift
Working hours: Night shifts according to schedule
Period: Summer 2026, weeks 26–33

We apply registry checks (extracts from the criminal record register) as a form of suitability assessment for all those offered employment in operations where there is direct and regular contact with children and young people.

In Gislaved Municipality, full-time employment is a right, and therefore vacant positions* are advertised as full-time. When the operation can accommodate part-time work, it is of course a possibility. *Positions shorter than 3 months and certain roles may be exempt.
