The Role of the Nurse

The work as a nurse in our unit involves specific and qualified care for acutely ill heart patients. We work in teams with a clear focus on good care and patient safety.

Your Future Workplace

Medicine E is the largest unit of the medical clinic with a care ward, cardiac intensive care, and a coronary unit. In connection, we also have our pacemaker unit, heart clinic, and anticoagulation clinic. We work to investigate and treat various heart diseases such as heart attacks, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also care for patients before and after various types of heart surgeries. In our care ward, we have 16 care places distributed over two care teams.

We have extensive experience in receiving summer interns and will do our utmost to provide you with valuable knowledge that you can take with you into your future professional role. We need summer interns from week 24 to week 34, and to make the planning as good as possible, we would like you to be able to work continuously for eight weeks.
