OUR OPERATIONS
As a substitute in Tranås municipality, you make a significant contribution. You will learn to take responsibility, enhance your ability to collaborate, and develop your approach towards people. If you are interested in working as a substitute, you are welcome to submit your application. You may be contacted if there is a need for substitutes in our operations.

Within Tranås municipality, you as a substitute have the opportunity to work in the following areas:

• Elderly care (home care and special housing)
• Support and care (group and service housing, housing support, personal assistance, and daily activities)
• Preschool
• School

QUALIFICATIONS
You should have a genuine interest in meeting people and helping them in their daily lives. Important qualities include customer service, flexibility, and responsibility.

You need to be at least 18 years old and able to work regularly. According to the Work Environment Act Chapter 5 Section 3 and AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8, these tasks cannot be performed by minors, hence we are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

We view positively if you have a completed or ongoing upper secondary education, for example in health and care or child and leisure. It is also a plus if you have previously worked in health and care or in preschool and school, but even if you lack experience, you are welcome to apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your tasks as a substitute may vary depending on which operation you are working in. In health and care, the work involves providing support and assistance to our users. In preschool and school, it is about supporting the development of children and young people. Regardless of which of our operations you work in, it is included to document and communicate to varying degrees, hence good knowledge of the Swedish language is important. The work may involve physically and mentally demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, working alone, and shifts during evenings and nights. According to the Work Environment Act Chapter 5 Section 3 and AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8, these tasks cannot be performed by minors, hence we are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old.

EMPLOYMENT AND SALARY
Hourly employment. Salary is discussed during the interview or when an offer of employment is made.

Working hours vary depending on the operation and needs.

If you become a candidate for substitute work, you will need to present a criminal record extract. You can order this from the Police. You will receive more information about which criminal record extract is required for the position during the process.
