About us

You will be part of a team consisting of 4 occupational therapists and 2 physiotherapists. Our common area of work covers Skåne and Småland.

You will have occupational therapy responsibility within Humanas LSS operations in Småland. Together with your colleagues, you will work based on a person-centered approach, where each client's individual wishes and needs are in focus.

About the position

As an occupational therapist with us, you will closely collaborate with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff.

Examples of job duties:

• Conduct occupational therapy functional assessments

• Trial and prescription of technical and cognitive aids

• Movement training

• Participate in team meetings and care planning

• Manage documentation and deviations

• Guide care staff in tasks within the profession

• Training of care staff in, among other things, transfer techniques

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people, who contributes daily to creating a meaningful everyday life for our clients. As a person, you are empathetic, responsible, service-oriented, and have an easy time building relationships. You have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team with other professionals, but you also have the ability to independently plan and execute your tasks.

For this position, you are required to:

• be a licensed occupational therapist

• have experience documenting in journal systems

• possess good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

• have experience working with people with physical, psychiatric, and neuropsychiatric diagnoses

• have a valid driver's license (B)

• provide a criminal record extract

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.
