The municipal health and medical care is responsible for patients in both special housing and ordinary housing. We meet patients with many different diseases and needs. As a nurse, you work cross-professionally with assistant nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Our goal is for the patient to experience security and live an independent life. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in the municipality, you meet patients of all ages with varying diseases and needs. Your patients may live in special housing, group or service apartments, or stay in short-term care units. The work involves both planned and acute health and medical care interventions.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• medical assessments
• medication management
• wound care
• end-of-life care
• handling of medical technical equipment

You provide support and advice to patients and their relatives and collaborate with other healthcare providers. You work closely with the health center's doctors and care coordinators and have access to specialist competence in areas such as palliative care and dementia. Documentation and supervision of nursing staff are central parts of your work. The role also includes cooperation with social secretaries as well as managers and employees within elderly care and disability support.

When you start, you will receive an introduction program tailored to your experience. You will get your own mentor and support from experienced colleagues.

The working hours are primarily during the day, with some evening shifts and weekend work every fourth week.
We are looking for a nurse with placement in Mariannelund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, but also for you who are trained as a specialist nurse. A B-driver's license is required. To thrive in your role, you are a secure and stable person. You are responsible and have a good ability to adapt to different situations and treat people in an empathetic way. You are structured, can plan and organize your work in an effective way. As a person, you value good cooperation with others and see the benefits of teamwork. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
