The role of midwife

As a midwife at the Women's Clinic, you work in a team and meet women and families at different stages of life. Our operations are characterized by a person-centered approach, high professionalism, and a shared commitment to safe and secure care. We are development-oriented and continuously work on improvement processes where your competence, thoughts, and ideas are a valuable contribution.

In this position, you will rotate between two of our units. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as agreed.

Your future workplace

Approximately 230 employees work at the Women's Clinic. The clinic's operations are located at Ryhov County Hospital, at 12 family centers, and a youth clinic. We provide health and medical care within pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, gynecological diseases, infertility, abortion, and contraceptive services.

The youth clinic works with young people's sexual-reproductive and psychosocial health. This provides good conditions for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a holistic perspective on women's health throughout life. The clinic has a county-wide responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature birth, and works in a process-oriented manner.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife. We welcome both those who are new to the profession and those with long experience who wish to continue developing within the Women's Clinic's broad mandate.

You contribute to security in the patient meeting through a professional and empathetic approach. You have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and are well aware of the importance of good quality in work. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
