The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse in the psychosis team, you have an independent role where you meet patients and their relatives at the clinic or in their homes. Your mission consists of mapping and treating psychosis patients, as well as providing support and psychoeducation to patients and their relatives. You collaborate with the team’s doctors, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators, as well as staff from the inpatient department, emergency and addiction reception, and rehabilitation center.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% daytime. Start date by agreement.

Your Future Workplace

The Psychiatric Clinic in Värnamo is part of the specialist psychiatry in Region Jönköping County. The psychosis reception is part of the psychiatric clinic's reception 4, which also includes psychiatric emergency care. Within our clinic, there is an inpatient department and three additional outpatient receptions.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have both great commitment and a strong interest in psychiatry. Specialist training or experience in the field is an advantage, but not a requirement.

To thrive in this position, you need to be responsible and collaborative. A good ability to create contact and communicate is necessary to succeed in the mission. Flexibility and creativity are also important qualities in this varied work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since you will be making home visits in this position, a B driver's license is required.
