The Orthopedic Clinic is an operation based on clear, standardized processes and knowledgeable staff with a good attitude.

We perform elective prosthetic surgery, primarily hip and knee replacements, at the absolute highest level.

The position is located in orthopedic department 8, where you work Monday to Friday. The position primarily involves night and evening shifts, but day shifts may also occur.

You will receive a clinic-adapted introduction that will make you feel secure in your work. You will work in a team with nurses, and during the day there is also close collaboration with both doctors and physiotherapists.

The department is closed on all weekends, public holidays, and during weeks 29-32.

We are looking for

We are now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to be involved in improving the operation further. Since qualities such as clarity, safety, efficiency, and proximity are important cornerstones of the orthopedic clinic's values, great emphasis is always placed on personal qualities in our recruitment.

The position is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment. Ongoing selection will take place.

This also means that a large part of our patients come to us from other counties.

Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has over 400 employees. The hospital is a small hospital with fast decision-making paths and close contacts between units. Here you can find medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near the center of Oskarshamn and close to the archipelago.
