We offer you a responsible, varied, and interesting job in occupational therapy and physiotherapy at the County Hospital in Kalmar. You will work in inpatient care with orthopedic and internal medicine emergency departments but will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other services.

The work involves assessments related to mobility, assistive device needs, and activity levels. You will work both independently and in a team with physiotherapists and the department's staff with the aim of enabling a safe and secure discharge from the hospital.

The working method is flexible and varied as you will meet patients with many different diagnoses throughout the workday.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

About you

You are a licensed occupational therapist. As a person, you have a positive attitude, understand the importance of good communication, and always prioritize the patient's best interests. You take initiative, are flexible, and can adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with others and possess an empathetic approach. You want to be involved in improving the operations while developing within your profession. We prefer candidates with experience in similar settings. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your future workplace

Rehab Söder is tasked with providing rehabilitative services to citizens in southern Kalmar County at both specialist and primary care levels. The unit is also responsible for the region's dietitian services in the southern part of the county as well as for the social work services at the County Hospital in Kalmar. Services should be provided in collaboration with other care providers and the patient's social network when necessary. The goal is for our services to lead to maintained or improved health.

The County Hospital in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts result in good outcomes in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
