Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) in Hultsfred Municipality

As MAR, you have overall responsibility for ensuring quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation area. You work both strategically and operationally, in close collaboration with operational managers, unit managers, as well as the functions MAS (Medical Responsible Nurse) and SAS (Social Responsible Coordinator).

In the role of MAR with us, you will have a key role with significant influence, where you work strategically but close to the operations. An important part is the work with social services' transformation and Close Care. The role also involves working with operational development and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
In the role of MAR, you will, among other things:
- Have overall responsibility for quality, follow-up, and development within the rehabilitation area
- Develop, follow up, and ensure the quality of guidelines and routines
- Support managers and employees in rehabilitation issues
- Work with preventive measures to strengthen patient safety and quality
- Collaborate with operational managers, unit managers, as well as MAS and SAS
- Collaborate externally at the regional level and to some extent nationally
- Follow developments in rehabilitation and assistive technology and ensure that the operations are updated on new findings, working methods, and regulations
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist and who wants to use their experience in a more overarching and strategic way. You are confident in your profession, have a structured approach, and thrive in an advisory role with a holistic perspective.
Experience in similar assignments, leadership roles, or work within municipal operations is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of legislation and governance within healthcare
- Experience in quality and development work
- Are structured, independent, and confident in making decisions
- Ability to see the whole, create engagement, and build good collaborations
