We are looking for someone who wants a high-tech job where you constantly get the chance to learn new things. As an operating room nurse, you are present where it happens! You dedicate your energy and care to one patient at a time and are an important player in ensuring that the patient receives the right care and that the operations are carried out safely. Do you enjoy working with other professional categories as a team and want to make a difference for others every day? Then you should work as an operating room nurse! We are primarily looking for licensed nurses employed by Region Kalmar County, but also for licensed nurses who are not already employed by us but are interested in further education.

Our workplace

The operating unit is part of the Emergency Clinic and includes day surgery, endoscopy, and sterile technical unit. We have five operating rooms and three endoscopy rooms, all equipped with the latest technology. Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has just over 400 employees. The hospital is a small facility with quick decision-making paths and close contacts between units. Here you will find, among other things, medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near the center of Oskarshamn and close to the archipelago.
