JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

All tasks typically associated with a school nurse, such as health talks, health checks, vaccinations, preventive health work, medical assessments, minor medical interventions, and open reception. The tasks also include planning for and participating in the school doctor's reception.

The position also involves collaboration with parents and external actors, as well as acting as an informant, support person, and advisor to students, parents, and school staff. Organizing CPR work for employees within the Education Administration.

In close cooperation with the other staff in student health, the school nurse has an important function with both individual and overarching tasks.

The school nurse is part of the school's student health team.

Through preventive and health-promoting work, all students are given the conditions for good learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed Nurse with further education as: district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse. Experience working as a school nurse is an advantage.

You should be positive, meticulous, and flexible, have an interest in working with children and adolescents, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively.

A driver's license is a requirement.
