About the IT section:

Our section consists of 12 dedicated employees who work both above and below ground to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to help develop our operations and future-proof our IT operations.

About the role:

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and customer-focused, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn new things in a challenging environment. You need to be structured, meticulous, and have a passionate commitment to IT. The IT section often participates in various projects within the organization, which requires good collaboration skills. You should be able to identify problems and suggest improvements to maintain a 24/7 IT environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of the company's IT installations above and below ground
• Planning and execution of activities as part of the infrastructure team
• Plan and develop various infrastructure solutions together with internal departments and external suppliers
• Plan and implement improvements and optimizations in the data center to ensure mining operations
• Collaborate with other IT specialists, system owners, and operations to ensure tailored IT solutions
• Management of backup, virtualization, network infrastructure, and system monitoring

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in similar work within IT operations or data centers
• Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent knowledge
• Driver's license (B)
• Good collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable competencies:

• Experience with virtualization solutions, primarily VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Good knowledge of storage technologies and backup strategies
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP
• Basic experience with network technology (switching, VLAN, firewalls, etc.)
• Experience working with mission-critical systems
• Documentation skills and experience with ticketing systems
• Previous work in environments with ITIL processes or similar frameworks

Other:

Working hours: Daytime, with the possibility of work outside normal hours. Some of the work is conducted underground.
