About the job

In the role of domain architect (IT architect with specialist knowledge in the area of integration), you will work, together with another domain architect, at a strategic and technical level to ensure that the authority meets MSB's security requirements, makes the right decisions regarding upcoming integration solutions, and monitors the external environment. You will work agilely with competent colleagues in the form of IT architects, integration developers, system technicians, and scrum masters.

You will

• standardize information exchange regarding IT integrations together with other IT architects in consultation with authorities and other external parties
• work with security-enhancing measures to create stable and secure solutions for the business together with other IT architects
• create future solutions for integrations within the authority together with the section's agile team and the business
• work strategically with integrations together with other IT architects
• be responsible for managing the architecture concerning integration platforms
• be part of the network of IT architects within the authority
• support and guide integration developers and system technicians to ensure high quality and contribute to knowledge enhancement.

You must have

• at least 3 years of experience working as an IT architect with a focus on integrations.

It is meritorious if you also have

• certification in IT architecture such as DF competence or equivalent
• experience with integration patterns and integration architecture
• experience in designing and developing APIs
• experience with distributed systems and ESB technology
• worked with the development or operation of critical societal systems.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We usually apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. The needs of the business and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us means placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About Transportstyrelsen

Number of employees: Approximately 2000.

Areas of operation: Transportstyrelsen works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, shipping, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership changes.

Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The largest part of the operations is in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro. The head office is located in Norrköping.

About the IT department

The IT department consists of five units with associated sections. We are about 300 employees.

We support all departments within Transportstyrelsen both strategically and operationally in IT matters. We work with architecture, system development, management, and operation of IT systems as well as infrastructure.
