About the Job

We are Gothenburg! Do you want to help protect Gothenburg City's digital infrastructure? Then a role as a cybersecurity analyst at the Security Operation Center (SOC) within Intraservice is for you!

This position is a first-line position (L1) within SOC and involves working closely with IT security-related issues and incidents in daily operations.

As a cybersecurity analyst, you will have the opportunity to delve into incidents and alerts, supported by SOC's tools, methods, and collective expertise.

We are currently in a development phase and need reinforcement for our team. As a member of the SOC team, you will participate in daily operational work and will have the opportunity to specialize in areas you find particularly interesting. Together with you, we will be a team of seven people who value working together and sharing our knowledge.

Examples of tasks for the role of cybersecurity analyst:

• monitoring alerts and identifying threats
• investigating incidents and escalating when necessary
• developing and maintaining documentation
• using and continuously improving tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and NDR

About You

We see that you have a university degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience that the employer deems comparable. In addition, you need to have good knowledge of IT security as well as basic knowledge of IT infrastructure. You also have good proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Formal competencies that are advantageous include work experience in IT security and within a SOC with relevant security tools. If you have also worked within a large organization with IT and have certifications in IT security, that is a plus.

As a person, you are collaborative and contribute to a positive group dynamic by being attentive, sharing your knowledge, and actively supporting your colleagues to solve common tasks. You are also independent enough to drive your own work forward and have the ability to solve problems on your own when they arise. We also see that you are a structured person who creates order in your work approach, works methodically, takes responsibility for completing your tasks, and follows up on results. Furthermore, you are analytical by nature and function as a problem solver who bases your decisions on facts and logic, which allows you to make well-founded decisions. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose solutions that benefit the organization. You also possess the ability to see connections and can draw logical conclusions from complex and limited information.

Other

The work primarily takes place on weekdays during office hours, but evening and weekend work as well as on-call duty may occur when needed and during incidents.

You will hold the position of systems analyst with us.

Intraservice conducts socially important activities, and therefore we place high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. The position is security-classified in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585). This requires Swedish citizenship and a passed security check, which includes, among other things, a background check via SÄPO and a passed alcohol and drug test.
