About the AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced C++ developer for a consulting assignment in automotive and ADAS development. You will be part of a team working on object identification and tracking, with a particular focus on “General Objects” – objects that do not fall into traditional categories such as vehicles, unprotected road users, or traffic signs.
The assignment is in a technical transformation where existing solutions based on geometric methods, such as Kalman filtering, are being further developed and gradually complemented or replaced with more deep learning-based approaches. The environment is characterized by multiple teams, complex dependencies, and high demands for structure, quality, and collaboration.
Responsibilities- Develop and test concepts to improve data curation and annotation for the detection of “general objects”.
- Maintain and further develop the existing codebase, including improvements to object tracking.
- Write and review production code in C++ according to safety-critical standards in a Linux environment.
- Collaborate closely with other development teams working on deep learning models.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes, quality, and performance.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and the ability to write performance-optimized, testable, and maintainable code.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Experience in Linux development environments.
- Experience working in larger monorepos with multiple teams and complex dependencies.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and efficient development workflows.
- Experience in safety-critical development.
- Experience in Computer Vision or other sensor-based data processing.
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning.
- Experience implementing Kalman filters.
- Ability to undergo a background check before the assignment starts.
- Experience working in environments with high demands for quality, traceability, and code review.
