Management System Coordinator at Metsä Tissue

We are looking for a structured and committed Management System Coordinator who wants to work closely with the business and ensure that our processes, routines, and certifications maintain high quality and support the company's long-term goals. As a Management System Coordinator, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving our integrated management system.

The position is a permanent employment located in Mariestad. You will report to the HSEQ Manager, Mariestad, but work overall for Metsä Tissue AB. Travel is required in the position.

What will you be doing?

You will work closely with the business and ensure that our processes, routines, and working methods comply with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

You are responsible for coordinating both internal and external audits and supporting the organization in matters related to process development, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvements. Together with managers and employees, you will drive development initiatives that strengthen our working methods and contribute to increased efficiency and quality.

An important part of the assignment is to integrate sustainability into the entire management system. This means ensuring that environmental, social, and governance aspects (ESG) are woven into our processes, KPIs, and our follow-up. You are also responsible for driving and coordinating sustainability initiatives that support the organization's long-term goals.

The assignment also includes monitoring the external environment in the field of sustainability and keeping track of relevant laws and regulations, which provides the business with good conditions to stay ahead.

The role also involves responsibility for several important areas related to compliance and certifications. You will represent the company in both internal and external groups and act as an important link between different parts of the organization.

In addition, you will support the sales organization in customer-related matters and handle inquiries from consumers regarding our products, our responsibility, and our sustainability work.

What kind of competence are we looking for?

·        We are looking for someone who has:

·        Post-secondary education in quality, management, occupational health and safety, or equivalent experience

·        Experience working with management systems, audits, or process development

·        Good understanding of standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent

·        Very good ability to structure, document, and follow up

·        Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with different parts of an organization

Personal qualities

In this role, you need to be proactive and self-driven, with the ability to take initiative and move the work forward. You are clear and engaging in your communication and have an easy time creating understanding and trust in different parts of the organization.

You have very good collaboration skills and thrive in a job where you work with managers, employees, and external parties. At the same time, you are confident in challenging existing working methods and raising issues that develop the business.

You are structured and methodical, and have the ability to remind, follow up, and ensure that activities are completed. Your curiosity, analytical ability, and perseverance allow you to see the big picture and drive change in a long-term and sustainable way.
