You are applying for a position within our event and monitoring team, where you will work with central monitoring platforms in a complex and critical IT environment. The role offers varied work with good opportunities for personal development and many points of contact within the organization. The team is responsible for the management and further development of monitoring solutions for collection, analysis, and alerts based on events and measurement data. We continuously work to improve automation, standardization, and quality in monitoring, in close collaboration with other technology and operations teams.

Examples of tasks:

• Configure and further develop monitoring, alerts, and event management
• Analyze and troubleshoot using monitoring data
• Manage and further develop monitoring agents and data collection
• Automate recurring tasks
• Contribute to the development of standardized and orderable monitoring services

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Several years of experience in monitoring, with post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Practical knowledge of larger platforms and automation
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat/Ubuntu) and Windows
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Good documentation skills and experience with Git
• The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Active Directory
