Are you an experienced .NET developer looking to drive architecture, code quality, and technical directions forward? Come work with us!

About the role

In this role, you will be an important part of our development team and work with the entire chain – from idea and design to implementation and operation. We develop smart and innovative solutions for our web-based closing program, with a strong focus on user-friendliness, stability, and meeting customer needs in a business where laws and regulations play a significant role.

You will belong to a team consisting of a Product Manager, Developers, UX, and specialists in closing. The team is not located in the same place but is spread across several of our offices in the country, but we have daily standups to keep the work together and create good collaboration in everyday life.

As a senior developer, you will contribute both hands-on in development and as a mentor for others. You drive technical decisions, ensure high quality in code and architecture, and help the team continue to grow. At the same time, you will have plenty of room to develop in areas such as backend, frontend, DevOps, testing, design, or leadership – depending on what attracts you the most.

We primarily work in .NET and Java and use methods such as Kanban and Shape Up to achieve a smooth flow. We believe in flexibility and offer the possibility of remote work, but we prefer that you start from the Gothenburg office 2–3 days a week.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and engaged developer with a genuine interest in backend development and technology in general.

You are solution-oriented and structured, but at the same time have a creative side when the situation requires it. You are flexible and thrive in a changing environment, while also being stress-resistant, humble, and confident in collaboration with others. We also believe that you are driven and curious, and that you have an analytical mindset with an interest in business logic and a holistic perspective. You enjoy solving complex problems and develop best in a team where knowledge sharing, lack of pretension, and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life.

Your profile:

  • A relevant higher education in system development or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of work experience
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with version control, preferably GIT
  • Experience working in agile teams
  • Experience with Jira

It is also a big plus if you master some or several of the following areas:

  • Java
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • CI/CD and automated build processes
  • MS SQL Server
  • Domain knowledge in finance, closing, or accounting

Who are we?

We are Bjorn Lunden, the business platform that simplifies everyday life for small and medium-sized enterprises. We have a simple belief: every company deserves growth opportunities. We are here to make it possible 🐻.

We are on a really exciting journey. We aim high, and our vision is to become one of the leading providers of software solutions for accounting and finance in Northwestern Europe. With roots in Hälsingland, specifically the small Näsviken, we have rapidly grown in recent years from a smaller, national company to an international group. Besides Sweden, we are also present in the Netherlands and Denmark.

The goal is simply to make everyday life a little easier for entrepreneurs and business owners. Something we believe we can achieve with really good software, knowledge, innovation, and TACO. Perhaps not the tacos you are thinking of, but our type of TACO – Trust, Ambition, Collaboration, and Ownership.

Our offer

We offer you a role in an international and growing company with a strong market position, looking to challenge the giants of the industry. It is important to us that our employees feel good and enjoy their work. We want to be a fair employer and strive for a sustainable balance between work and leisure. We do this, among other things, by offering good conditions and benefits, 30 days of vacation, and the possibility of flexibility. We want to be the obvious choice for employees who want to feel good and have fun at work.

Application

The position is full-time and permanent, located in Gothenburg.

The application deadline is March 18, 2026. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. So apply now!
