Delivery Planner in Construction

We are looking for someone who is passionate about logistics planning in construction projects and wants to be part of the action – real construction logistics.

Together with the rest of the team from Svensk Bygglogistik, you will streamline the client's construction production and create the best possible logistical conditions. This is a role for you who enjoys structure, planning, and communication.

Responsibilities:

As a delivery planner, you are a central part of the project's logistics organization. You ensure the daily logistics planning for the construction site with the goal of minimizing obstacles and creating a planned production with high efficiency.

Examples of tasks:

• Ensure that areas, transport routes, and unloading sites are kept clear and accessible.
• Administer and work in the delivery and resource planning system LogNet, including:
• Planning deliveries and booking resources such as forklifts, cranes, and other lifting aids.
• Reviewing applications for new users.
• Planning and ordering unloading resources.
• Conduct rounds, inspections, and reviews of transport routes before upcoming deliveries.
• Hold daily morning meetings with staff/drivers for resources.
• Participate in the project's APD and logistics meetings.
• Establish internal APD plans and placement drawings.

The position involves a high degree of presence in production where you actively engage in dialogue with professionals and contractors to ensure that logistics work in practice.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education or work experience in logistics, transport, or construction. You have likely worked on larger construction projects and have a good understanding of the often complex flows and processes of construction production.

You work meticulously, structured, and methodically, and have the ability to get others to follow established plans. You are used to working in various systems and feel comfortable in a digital work environment.

Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills and thrive in a role with many contact points and collaborations across different professions. You are service-oriented but also clear and confident in your demands. You take initiative, are solution-oriented, and can quickly reprioritize when the situation requires it.

Additional Information:

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period, full-time with immediate start. The employment requires compliance with the law.

The position is located on-site five days a week from 7 AM to 4 PM. There is also an option for a more flexible arrangement if you live in another location, where you work on-site four days a week and one day remotely. In this arrangement, we cover travel expenses and accommodation.
