LKAB Berg & Betong is a leading company providing full-service solutions for the mining and construction industry. We perform rock reinforcement and tunneling in our mines, as well as process waste rock into gravel and crushed stone.

Your role

As a miner with us, you will have a central role in the daily operations of our underground mines. The work is varied and includes tasks such as drilling, scaling, reinforcing, and conducting blasting operations. The role also includes maintaining and servicing production areas.

Your tasks are performed underground, which means you will have the opportunity to develop both your practical and technical skills in a unique work environment. The mining profession offers several different specializations, making it a versatile and developing profession with great significance for the continued success of the mining industry.

What you bring with you

As a miner with us, you take responsibility for safe and efficient operations underground. You work with heavy machinery and must be meticulous and aware of the importance of following safety regulations and work routines. The work is varied and requires you to collaborate and quickly adapt and help where needed, whether it involves drilling, blasting, or rock reinforcement. Your ability to act flexibly and strive for high quality and efficiency is crucial for the success of mining operations.

You also bring with you:

• Complete high school diploma
• Driving license B for manual transmission
• Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English
• Driving license C is an advantage but not a requirement
• Blasting license is an advantage but not a requirement
