Your Everyday Life - Strengthening Sweden's Total Defense

In just a few years, the security and defense policy conditions have significantly changed the national defense policy. This means that Fortifikationsverket is in strong growth. As a property engineer with us, you will be part of the Region's Technical Unit, which consists of 19 employees. As a property engineer, you will carry out assignments for the manager based on a project-oriented approach, planning, implementing, and following up maintenance measures and owner-related investment projects within the property portfolio based on a budget.

The assignment also includes status inspections, property documentation, and cost analyses within the framework of the management assignment, as well as participating in the procurement of consultants and contractors. The work involves travel within and outside the region.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree or vocational education deemed suitable by the employer for the assignment, or equivalent education or knowledge that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience in the real estate industry as a property engineer, project manager, or technical manager with a focus on construction. You have a high level of security awareness and good knowledge of administrative support systems and Office programs. You also have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (class B) is required.

It is advantageous to have education and/or experience in PBL, LOU, LUFS, BAS P/U, and construction law. We prefer that you have experience in project management within the real estate sector. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of or experience with the Armed Forces. If you have experience working in a security-classified position or experience with security-protected procurement with security protection agreements, that is also an advantage.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a military position. The place of employment is Boden. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
