Do you want to help create efficient logistical flows that make a difference in construction? We are currently looking for a logistics manager for a larger construction project in central Luleå.

This role has a clear strategic mission; to ensure that the overall logistics plan is followed and revised. The goal is to minimize obstacles, optimize flows, and contribute to the project being carried out safely and cost-effectively.

As a logistics manager, you are a central function in the project. You analyze and ensure the logistical prerequisites throughout all stages of production, coordinate various actors, and translate planning into effective working methods in practice. The role also involves leading the Building Logistics team responsible for deliveries and flows, as well as following up to ensure that logistics develops and improves over time.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Lead weekly logistics meetings with clients and subcontractors
  • Ensure that all parties are informed about material flows and logistics routines before project start
  • Revise APD and phase plans to create effective material flows and proper allocation of spaces
  • Participate in planning and production meetings
  • Identify bottlenecks in material, personnel, and machinery flows and suggest measures
  • Compile statistics regarding logistics flows as a tool for follow-up
  • Collaborate and maintain ongoing contact with authorities, clients, and other parties
  • Lead staff from Building Logistics

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with education in logistics or construction, or alternatively long work experience in the field. You have experience working in larger construction projects, with a good understanding of the flows and coordination needs of construction production. You also have experience in leadership roles such as supervisor, team leader, or similar.

You have a structured and analytical approach to work with the ability to see the big picture while systematically working with details and making decisions based on facts and follow-up. You are decisive and solution-oriented, even under time pressure, and dare to set demands and follow up to ensure results. As a person, you are unpretentious and collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships and create trust in production as well as in collaboration with clients and subcontractors. You are communicative and pedagogical in meetings and always act with high integrity and a strong focus on safety. You are accustomed to working in digital systems and have a natural sense of order and tidiness.

It is important that you want to build long-term relationships and that you can identify with our values: Drive, simplicity, accountability, and sustainability.

Additional Information:

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period, full-time with immediate start. The employment requires compliance with the law.

The position is located on-site five days a week from 7 AM to 4 PM. There is also the possibility of a more flexible arrangement if you live in another location, where you work on-site four days a week and one day remotely. In this arrangement, we cover travel costs and accommodation.

We handle this recruitment ourselves and kindly but firmly ask for no contact from recruitment companies or ad sellers.

Tip about another vacant position with us - Delivery Planner

Are you meticulous with both small and large details? We want to inform you that we are also looking for a delivery planner for the project. In this role, you will primarily work with administration in the client's delivery and resource planning system LogNet. If you have experience with systems, are communicative, and enjoy structure and planning at both the detailed and overarching levels, this could be the role for you.

You will plan deliveries and book resources such as forklifts, cranes, and other lifting aids. The role also involves some work out in the construction production, where you conduct rounds, measurements, and inspections of transport routes before upcoming deliveries. Additionally, you will help update APD plans (workplace disposition plans) on the construction site.
