About the organization

Slättberg School is located in central Trollhättan and currently has about 165 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is a profile school with a music focus and, with its new facilities, has all the prerequisites for modern and contemporary teaching. Over the past year, the development work at the school has focused on creating a health-promoting school that can best meet our students' needs.

All lessons at Slättberg School should be characterized by study and safety, and we place great importance on the ability to create good and secure relationships.

We are now looking for a teacher in Wood and Metal Craft.

Job Responsibilities

At Slättberg School, you will be part of a driven team with a focus on students' development and well-being. Teaching is shared between our school and the nearby Hjortmoss School for grades 4-6. Most of the students in grades 7-9 come from that school, which provides good opportunities to follow the students over time. In addition to teaching craft, you will also be part of the team's work to create conditions for learning. You will also act as a mentor for a number of students. By systematically following up on students' knowledge development, you will contribute to the team's work together with EHT to give our students good conditions for further studies.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications in Wood and Metal Craft. You are a secure and relationship-building leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you will conduct work that puts the student's learning at the center. You are an engaged teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations of the students and the ability to communicate these in a motivating spirit. You are used to following up on the results of your teaching and systematically developing it so that students can achieve as much as possible.
