Älgarås school is now looking for an engaged and qualified teacher for grades 4–6.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our rural school and who sees the advantages of smaller student groups and close, collegial collaboration. You thrive in a small context where everyone contributes and takes joint responsibility for students' learning, your own professional development, and the school's overall success. You are resourceful, willing to share ideas, and dare to try new methods. At the same time, you appreciate the freedom and responsibility that working in a smaller school unit entails.

You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 4–6. We primarily seek someone with subject qualifications in Swedish, English, social studies, natural sciences, technology, sports, and art, but we also welcome a broad qualification in other subjects such as crafts or music.

You work in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, and are accustomed to using ICT and digital pedagogical tools in teaching. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position may be combined with a role as a lead teacher. To obtain a position as a lead teacher, you need at least four years of experience as a licensed teacher. In addition, we place great importance on professional competence, good leadership ability, and the ability to demonstrate clear results in teaching.

The core of the lead teacher role within Töreboda municipality involves being a driving force in the school's and municipality's operational development. The role includes, among other things, that you:

• support the principal in planning and implementing school development

• drive pedagogical development and collegial learning at your own school

• lead and coordinate subject meetings at a municipality-wide level

• regularly arrange pedagogical conferences at your own school

• spread and further develop ideas and knowledge within your stage.

The tasks mainly consist of teaching students in grades 4–6. You work both independently and in close collaboration with the team to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in accordance with the school's governing documents. Experience in grading is an advantage.

The start date is August 12 or by agreement, provided that the position does not need to be filled by existing staff and that organizational conditions exist. The position may be filled before the application deadline, and interviews may occur continuously.
