At the Cultural School in Tranemo, we work in a creative and pleasant environment with a wide range of courses in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and game development for children and young people. Here, you will become part of a dedicated teaching team that strives to promote creativity, participation, and artistic expression. We have a well-established ensemble and orchestra program and offer a large number of concerts and performances each year. Together with elementary schools, youth centers, and local cultural actors, we work to provide children and young people the opportunity to engage with and develop through culture. Our violin courses are conducted both in our facilities in Tranemo and at the municipality's elementary schools.

The Cultural School in Tranemo is part of the unit Young in Tranemo, which includes Youth Centers and the Cultural School.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the position of violin and viola teacher, you will teach children and young people up to 19 years old, both in groups and individually. You will also be tasked with resuming ensemble and orchestra development.

Teaching primarily takes place during the day and evening, and some weekend work may occur. You will also participate in trial activities and open sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a higher education in music pedagogy or other qualifications that can be deemed equivalent.

You are:

• structured, responsible, and able to plan and prioritize in your daily work.
• creative and pedagogical, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in their musical development.
• able to meet each student based on their individual needs and create learning environments that allow for both safety and artistic challenge.

Working with us requires good collaboration skills and a willingness to work across subjects, as well as the ability to both lead projects and contribute to the overall development of the organization.

If you have skills in secondary instruments or experience with, for example, El Sistema, the scope of the position can be discussed and possibly expanded.

A B driver's license is required for the position.
