JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now strengthening our organization with an additional special teacher focusing on grades 4-6. At Billingsdalskolan, we currently have over 300 students and a stable staff of 40. Our experienced special educator and special teachers look forward to enhancing the special pedagogical competence at the school. You will be part of our student health team and direct your efforts towards grades 4-6.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and school law. You will stay updated on new findings and research in special education and share your theoretical knowledge and pedagogical competence. You will observe, document, follow up, write action plans, and conduct and analyze screenings and other assessments in collaboration with your colleagues in the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is desirable that you have a teaching license with qualifications to teach in grades F-6 or equivalent, as well as a special teacher's degree with specialization in language, writing, and reading development or mathematics development. We warmly welcome your application.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se.
