Description
Do you want to help shape IT customer service in an organization that is important to society? We are looking for a support technician who wants to contribute to an efficient, secure, and user-friendly digital environment for the municipality's employees.
Together with an engaged team, you will drive the development of our user support and service – with a particular focus on strengthening support for the digital workplace.
Responsibilities
As a support technician, you are responsible for delivering first-class service, providing user support, and solving IT-related problems for Värnamo municipality's employees. The role involves broad contact with users, varied tasks, and good development opportunities in an organization with a strong focus on service, quality, and improvement.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line support via phone and digitally, as well as assisting users on-site in IT customer service
- Registering and managing cases in the case management system.
- Solving simpler problems directly and escalating more complex cases.
- Providing user support and performing orders and troubleshooting of hardware and software (PC, mobile, iPad, Windows, M365, printers, conference equipment, etc.).
- Conducting smaller training sessions to strengthen users' digital competence.
- Contributing to the development of working methods, digital support, and service quality within IT customer service.
- Working closely with operations to solve problems and improve the user experience.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- High school education in IT or other education and work experience that we as an employer assess as equivalent
- Documented work experience in IT support
- Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience in troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Experience with service desk systems (e.g., case management, prioritization, documentation)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:
- Knowledge of client management, such as Intune, SCCM, or E-Client
- Experience in account management, permissions, and groups
- Understanding of networks (Basic understanding of information retrieval)
- Certifications in Microsoft or similar
- Experience in municipal operations or the public sector
