We are now looking for an operational buyer for a consulting assignment with an established player in the manufacturing industry. The assignment involves a central role in the supply chain where you are responsible for ensuring the availability of critical components to internal customers, primarily within the workshop operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing gas turbine components from external suppliers and work closely with both production and the supplier chain. You will develop your purchasing area with a focus on efficiency, delivery precision, and long-term improvement of the supply chain.

You will operate based on existing agreements negotiated by strategic buyers and ensure that orders, deliveries, and follow-ups are carried out according to plan. The role involves many contact points, a high tempo at times, and a great deal of personal responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

Management of purchase orders and invoices Delivery monitoring and follow-up Drive and lead supplier meetings for ongoing deliveries Supplier development Material planning Communication and feedback to internal customers and suppliers Work with process development and improvements

You are responsible for identifying and communicating deviations in the supply chain and actively working on problem-solving in both the short and long term. You question working methods, drive improvements, and contribute to a more efficient flow. 🔄

We are looking for someone who

Has education in purchasing or logistics, such as economics or industrial economics Has good knowledge of English in both speech and writing Is outgoing, driven, and has good collaboration skills

Meritorious

Experience in operational purchasing Good knowledge of SAP Good knowledge of Excel Experience in material and logistics work
