The Role of Specialist Physician/Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology

In this role, you will work with outpatient care, surgery, and ward duties. You are an active part of the entire obstetric care chain and participate in both planned and emergency activities. On-call duties are included.

Supervision of resident doctors, interns, and medical students is a natural part of the assignment. You contribute to knowledge transfer and a learning climate in everyday life. There is an opportunity for profiling according to agreement, based on your competence and the needs of the organization.

Your Profile

To be considered for the position, you must have specialist competence in obstetrics and gynecology as well as a Swedish medical license. You have experience in clinical work in both obstetrics and gynecology. Experience in supervision is a plus.

You are confident in your professional role, have good judgment, and make well-founded decisions, even in pressured situations. You are flexible and collaborate well with colleagues. In your daily work, you take responsibility, communicate clearly, and contribute to a good work climate. We place great importance on personal suitability.
