We are looking for a therapist for HVB Hallegatan in Gothenburg.
About the organization
Hallegatan's HVB caters to young people aged 15–19 who need support in their daily lives due to psychosocial issues, neuropsychiatric disabilities, or high school absenteeism.
The facility is centrally located in Hisingen, Gothenburg, near Keillers Park, schools, and recreational activities. Good transport links are available by bus and tram.
The unit consists of a collective area with 4 places and 5 HVB apartments in the building.
We have a dedicated staff group with diverse backgrounds, including social workers, social pedagogues, and treatment pedagogues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Through our training program, Lära, we offer internal training, orientation, and supervision to strengthen employees' skills and development.
Job Responsibilities
As a therapist with us, you will work closely with the youth, focusing on creating a safe and developing daily life. The job involves working days, evenings, sleeping on-call, and weekend shifts. Solo work may occur.
Your role includes:
Implementing support and treatment measures based on individual needs.
Participating in planning, follow-up, and documentation of implementation plans.
Being a support in the youths' daily lives, both practically and emotionally.
Collaborating with families, social services, schools, and other stakeholders.
Contributing to structure, clarity, and a good treatment climate in the unit.
Daily documentation, establishing implementation plans, and monthly and final reports.
Qualifications
Only candidates with at least a 2-year post-secondary education in social work will be considered for the position.
Social worker, social pedagogue, or other relevant higher education.
Experience working with youth, preferably in HVB or similar settings.
Knowledge in family work, addiction issues, or NPF is an advantage.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
