The nursing home at Åkersbergsvägen 3 is a residence for elderly individuals in the Gånsta area of Enköping city. The residence is pleasant, consists of fresh premises, and has a fantastic garden. There are a total of six units, where five units house individuals with decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and one unit houses individuals with decisions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The SoL units consist of two dementia units and three somatic units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs. You will primarily work with good care, service, and social interaction, but also documentation, planning, certain health and medical tasks, and development work.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with elderly people and believes that social interaction and meaningfulness are important ingredients in everyday life.

To succeed in the role of a nursing assistant, you need to be accustomed to working with other people. You are good at listening, communicating, and contributing to resolving conflicts constructively.

You are also secure in yourself and have good self-awareness. You differentiate between the private and the professional and can adapt your behavior according to each situation.

In addition to these personal qualities, you have relevant education, such as the care and nursing program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Previous experience working in a dementia unit is an advantage.

It is also very important that you master Swedish both in speech and writing, as communication is a central part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education as a nursing assistant.

You need to be able to speak and write Swedish to perform your tasks, document, and communicate with our residents.

To carry out your duties, you need to be able to receive medication delegation from the responsible nurse.

If you have experience working within SoL operations, we consider it a strong merit.

Furthermore, it is important that you as an applicant:
