Substitute Teacher at JENSEN education in Bro Mälarstrand

In 2021, we opened a brand new primary school and preschool in Bro Mälarstrand, in Upplands-Bro municipality. With this unique project, we offer a school where studies are the focus, as well as a rich selection of sports and arts & culture for all ages. Our goal is to become the municipality's leading school and preschool. In August 2021, we started the primary school's operations with students from preschool class to grade 3, and since August 2022, we also have space for students in grades 4-9.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a substitute teacher means supporting the operations as a teacher when the need arises, and/or at our after-school program. This mainly involves short assignments that may suit you if you are studying or have another occupation, but there may also be opportunities for longer employment for those who wish.

We work according to a pedagogical concept that we call Training for Reality. Since it is important that our substitutes work in the same way, we will go through this during a potential interview.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can teach multiple subjects. We prefer that you are either studying at a university or have a degree. Perhaps you are a teacher student who wants to substitute?

As a person, it is important that you have a strong interest and ability to help others. You are a confident and coaching person who is attentive and clear in your interactions. You are also proactive, pedagogical, and communicative, as well as having the ability and willingness to lead in the classroom. In the role of substitute teacher, you work independently, but of course, in dialogue with a teacher and students at the school.

It is important for us that you are able to step in at short notice and are flexible with times.

Employment Type

Temporary part-time employment (intermittent employment). Individual salary setting (hourly wage).
