The adapted primary school in Lidingö is a workplace characterized by joy, commitment, and creativity among both staff and students. We currently have 33 students in grades 1-9, distributed across 6 classes. The operation is locally integrated in Bodals school with proximity to both forest and sea. It takes 5 minutes from Ropsten, by Lidingöbanan or bus.

Lidingö municipality has 11 municipal primary schools, we focus on knowledge and enjoyable learning, which is reflected in our good academic results. RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching is designed based on individual conditions. The approach is to always put the student in focus and to base it on low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy. During the school day, you support students both in the classroom and during breaks. You work closely with a mentor and teaching assistants to provide students with the support they need. We help each other between classes, and therefore we want you to be able to work with all our students, both individually and in groups. In the afternoons, you work at our after-school care and together with your colleagues, you plan and carry out activities at the after-school.

We educate students to promote independence and create conditions for development and learning that prepare them for an independent life in the future. For us, it is important that students succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities. To be able to offer students the help they need, we have a high staff density. We see you as an important part of a whole that works for all students to reach their goals. Together, you are involved in the students' learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have previous experience from adapted primary school or similar activities. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in children's learning and are engaged in your work. As a teaching assistant, we place great importance on you being structured, solution-focused, and flexible. You are stable and have a professional and low-arousal response. Since the role involves close collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents, you need to have good collaboration skills.

The city applies individual salary setting. The employment is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment.
