International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.
IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at compulsory school level with 48 schools and around 32,000 students across the country. IES has grown steadily and maintained quality since 1993.

The English School Norrtälje is a two-parallel school that opened in August 2024.

Job Description
IES Norrtälje is a bilingual school where we work together, staff and students, in an international environment. You should feel comfortable communicating in both spoken and written English and Swedish with students, their families, and staff. Teaching at IES follows the Swedish curriculum and syllabuses.
You have an individual focus and an outgoing working style. Your tasks include conducting guidance interviews, both individually and in groups. Informing about different educational paths and professions. Supporting the student in the guidance process. You will be involved in creating activities focused on study and career guidance. You collaborate with other study and career advisors within the unit to ensure that guidance runs like a common thread throughout the school. Cooperation with other school staff in general guidance is important for increased goal fulfillment. Collaboration also occurs to a high degree with authorities, businesses, other municipalities, and other educational providers.

You have a degree in study and career guidance.
