Professionals Nord, in collaboration with EWAB Engineering, is seeking an economist. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at EWAB Engineering. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be employed directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for the payroll process in the Swedish company while also working with project administration in the business system. At the same time, you will handle accounting tasks such as reconciliations, monthly closings, and support in annual closings. The role is broad and involves many points of contact, both internally and internationally.

Examples of tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the payroll process in the Swedish company, including payroll runs, follow-up work, and reporting.
• Administration of projects in the business system, which includes handling sales orders, establishing payment plans, invoicing, and support for the purchasing team.
• Management of accounts payable and receivable.
• Accounting work in the form of reconciliations, monthly closings, and annual closing work, where you will act as support to EWAB's CFO.
• Some participation in various HR-related tasks.

You will primarily work in Kontek Lön, Kontek HRM, and Sage X3. Excel is also an important tool in your daily work.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with work experience in both finance and payroll. You have an education in finance and feel confident in the fundamental tasks within the field. Experience in closing accounts and project accounting is an advantage, but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you are confident in your core competencies and have the willingness and ability to take on more advanced tasks over time. You also have very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
