We are now looking for a licensed psychologist for Familjeläkarna Storvretens VC

Familjeläkarna in Storvreten is a well-respected health center with approximately 8800 registered patients, located in Tumba. Here, doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, and psychologists work closely together. Our clinic also includes a laboratory, and we offer booked appointments with physiotherapists via PVR. Our mission also includes child health care and home care. We are housed in modern and bright premises with a good working environment.

At Familjeläkarna, we work based on Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), which means that mental health is an integral part of the health center. To ensure our patients receive care as efficiently as possible, we have no waiting lists or assessment conversations; instead, patients go directly to the staff working with mental health, ensuring good accessibility.

Our working method creates good conditions for interdisciplinary work, which enhances the work environment and makes the job more stimulating. We appreciate that our patients receive care quickly and effectively, which also allows for preventive work.

The IBH approach is focused and effective. Studies show that most patients are helped after 1-4 visits, but the approach also allows for more visits for those who need it. We place great importance on continuity and always offer patients the opportunity to return as needed. IBH is not a form of therapy but a way to organize the health center's work with mental and behavioral health issues. Integrating behavioral health at health centers is a way to organize care that allows for various forms of therapy (e.g., CBT, FACT, MI, self-compassion, etc.).

Job Responsibilities: You will primarily work with psychological assessment and treatment of adults with unhealthy stress, anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, and crises. There may also be children and adolescents, although this is not a stated focus for us.

At the health center, you will work closely with other professional categories regarding patients. There is also close collaboration among psychologists at all Familjeläkarna health centers. Training is provided every semester, along with weekly collegial supervision.

The work requires integrity and independence in patient work while also being flexible. To thrive and function in the role, you need to be proactive and self-driven, as well as possess good collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Degree in psychology with basic psychotherapy training in CBT. Experience from a health center is desirable. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
