Dental Hygienist at a Well-Established Clinic in Southern Stockholm

About the Workplace

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our modern and well-established dental practice in Hökarängen Centre. The clinic is located in a pleasant and quiet area in Hökarängen with easy access to the subway. Our clinic is the only one in the area and has a long tradition, founded already in the 1950s, with a stable and loyal patient base. The clinic has been fully renovated and offers a bright and fresh environment with two treatment rooms, a sterilization room, a reception, and a waiting room. Currently, the team consists of a dentist who is also the operations manager, one dental hygienist, two dental nurses, and a receptionist.

The clinic is currently in an exciting transition phase. We wish to expand the business by adding at least one more dental hygienist who wants to help develop the clinic by having the opportunity to put their own stamp on the operations. Job Responsibilities

The role of Dental Hygienist involves varied work where you will take care of patients with a focus on preventive dental care, periodontal treatments, and general oral hygiene. We offer room for flexibility in the role and are open to shaping it according to your own interests and goals within the profession. You will work closely with both dentists and dental nurses in a well-coordinated team to ensure the highest quality of care. Some time may be allocated to assistance and delegated teamwork, which is part of our clinic's strategy to provide high-quality dental care.

Qualifications

You are a licensed Dental Hygienist with a few years of experience in the field. We would appreciate it if you had experience working both preventively and with periodontal treatments, but most importantly, you must have a genuine interest in improving our patients' oral health. Experience with IT systems such as Symphoni, Libretto, Microsoft, and Frenda is advantageous but not a requirement.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and meticulous. You have a good ability to communicate and build trust with our patients, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in their lives through good oral health. You should feel confident making independent decisions within your license, but also be willing to seek new information when necessary. Since staff may have varying schedules, you should be comfortable with occasional hours where you might work alone. However, this is not part of everyday life but may occur a few times per quarter. You are easy to work with, structured in your work, and enjoy a varied workday. It is also important that you are flexible and can adapt when new challenges arise. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to project professionalism in the role.

The position is full-time, and the working hours can be discussed to suit both you and our operations. We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
