About us:
Gustavsberg Health Centre is a large and well-functioning primary care clinic with approximately 36 doctors and 30,000 registered patients, located in modern premises at Gustavsberg Harbour. The clinic also serves as a University Health Centre where extensive education and research are conducted.
Gustavsberg Health Centre takes pride in having gathered large parts of primary care under one roof, including primary care rehabilitation, Child Health Centre (BVC), Maternal Health Centre (MVC), youth clinic, and collaboration with the municipality in the care of children with mental health issues.
We constantly develop our working methods and influence the design of services such as "Always Open". Digital contacts are a major and natural part of our operations.
Job Description:
The role as a Resident Doctor (Underläkare) with us will involve a varied and adapted clinic, including an infectious disease clinic, under regular supervision. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Fridays 08:00–14:30.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Medical Doctor.
- Experience working at a health centre and within primary care is meritorious.
Personal Attributes:
You have good empathetic skills and appreciate the daily clinical patient work with its complexity and variety. Providing a good reception and treatment is second nature to you. We believe that you are positive, solution-oriented, and flexible. You can and enjoy working both independently and in teams. Furthermore, you have good collaborative and organizational skills.
Employment Type
Fixed-term full-time position starting in the autumn. This position does not involve practical training (praktiskt tjänstgöring).

Regarding patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO’s overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination according to current directives, conducted through the occupational health service before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
