Personnel Planner for Coordinated Staffing in Region South

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a personnel planner within coordinated staffing in Region South, you will be part of a team of 16 personnel planners. Some team members and the group manager are based at the regional office in Malmö, while others work from the operational site they are responsible for. This position is a longer-term temporary assignment based in Malmö.

In this role, you will be responsible for both short- and long-term staffing planning for the authority's core operations.

Through daily contact with the core operations, you will plan staffing at the unit in a quality-assured and efficient manner. The planning will be based on laws, routines, and collective agreements. You will solve short- and long-term vacancies and proactively work to achieve set goals. The role also includes vacation planning and training planning, as well as collaboration with managers in the operations.

You work in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. You are attentive to deadlines and set and adhere to timeframes. In this role, it is important to make correct assessments and priorities despite time constraints. In our staffing planning, a lot often happens at once, which means you need to remain calm and focus on the right things even when stressful or pressured situations arise.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Academic education in organizing/management of work or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant for the position.
• Very good computer skills
• Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

• Work experience from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Experience in personnel and staffing planning
• Experience with personnel and staffing systems
• Knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies, etc.)
• Experience with Heroma
• Experience with state collective agreements
