Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include teaching primarily in the Primary Teacher Programs F-3 and 4-6, but may also include teaching in the Primary Teacher Program with a focus on leisure, the master's program, and doctoral education. Teaching will be conducted within the framework of both campus-based and distance courses. Research, development, and administrative work are also part of the job responsibilities.

The workplace is Högskolan i Gävle. The applicant is expected to spend most of their working time on-site at Högskolan i Gävle.

The employment is a temporary position from 260801 to 270630, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

To be eligible for employment as a university lecturer, the applicant must have demonstrated pedagogical skills and have obtained a doctoral degree in pedagogy or another area deemed relevant by the employer. The applicant should have experience in pedagogical activities, including planning, execution (teaching and examination), evaluation, and development of education. The applicant must have documented pedagogical skills and research experience within schools. Special knowledge and experience in the field of health and well-being, preferably with a focus on leadership or policy, or special educational competence with an interest in cognitive science is meritorious. The applicant should also have completed higher education pedagogical training equivalent to at least 10 weeks of full-time studies or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge.

For the position, you need to have good collaboration skills and the ability to cooperate and create good relationships with both internal and external parties. You should have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. In addition to the basic qualifications, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
