At Korpvägens preschool, we apply aesthetic learning processes and actively work with issues related to equal treatment, sustainability, and well-being. The preschool has a yard with berry bushes and its own crops. Nearby, there are plenty of beautiful natural areas and playgrounds. Korpvägens preschool is located in the attractive district of Sörby in Gävle, close to Sörbyskolan.

Norrskensgården is a preschool with 6 departments spread over two floors, located in Andersberg. The preschool's large yard offers ample space for play and movement. We are currently working with Pippi as a theme throughout the preschool, where we inspire each other and the various projects underway. Here, guardians, children, and staff from many parts of the world meet.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a pedagogical preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and the pedagogical development work.

Your responsibilities include:

• that you, together with colleagues in the work team, have the main responsibility for education at the preschool
• that you plan, implement, document, follow up, and evaluate the activities according to established goals and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree from the preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with the authority to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or ongoing education in the preschool teacher program, with graduation in June 2026
• is familiar with and knowledgeable about the preschool curriculum
• has a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• it is an advantage if you have experience with AAC and/or sign language, as well as multicultural preschool experience

To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you have:

• the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best way
• a humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians
• the ability to lead and motivate children and make them feel comfortable and well. You are structured and plan your work well. You are also good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language according to the current situation. Furthermore, you have a good ability to make children feel a sense of belonging and inclusion in preschool
• the ability to take initiative, be courageous, and distinguish between the matter and the person.

Interviews are expected to be conducted during weeks 9-10.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record for work in schools or preschools. You can order the criminal record from the police's website.
