Björkeförskola is located in Björke with space for 50 children distributed across 3 home areas. The preschool is close to the forest and nature, and the yard offers various types of play as it is hilly and large. The preschool has a strong collaboration between the departments both indoors and outdoors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a pedagogical preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and the pedagogical development work.

Your responsibilities include:

• that you, together with colleagues in the work team, have the main responsibility for the education at the preschool
• that you plan, implement, document, follow up, and evaluate the activities according to set goals and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who

• has a degree from the preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with the authority to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or ongoing education in the preschool teacher program, graduating in June 2026.
• is familiar with and knowledgeable about the preschool curriculum.
• has a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• has knowledge of various pedagogical learning environments
• has experience with children in need of special support
• has experience with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and knowledge of TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication)

To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you have:

• the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best way
• the ability to spread calm and stability, as well as instill trust and create confidence
• a humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians
• the ability to lead and motivate children and help them thrive and feel good. You are structured and plan your work well. You are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language according to the current situation. Furthermore, you have a good ability to make children feel belonging and included in preschool

Interviews are expected to be conducted during week 9.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record for work within schools or preschools. You can order the criminal record from the police's website, polisen.se.
