We are currently looking for a Customer Technical Support for an exciting opportunity at Telia! This is a six-month assignment with possibilities for extension or a direct hire to the client. If you are driven, service-minded, and have experience working with Linux, you might be the one we are looking for!

About the department

The division you will work in is responsible for the group's efforts to promote innovations within the company and find ways to develop within New generation Telco. The department handles cases related to IOT and Smart Public Transport (SPT), which includes new revolutionary technology in buses, trams, trains, as well as other vehicles and smart buildings.

About the role

The role of technical support involves a varied job with a focus on problem-solving. You will handle incoming cases, identify problems, and resolve them in, among others, the Linux operating system. In this role, you will communicate with corporate clients but also have daily contact with field service technicians and 2nd-line support if further troubleshooting is required. However, most cases are resolved by the competent technical support team.

Responsibilities:

• Technically troubleshoot hardware and software programs
• Communicate with technicians or traffic management
• Perform checks to identify potential issues in various devices
• Resolve network problems
• Keep the customer updated

About you

To fit in this role, you should have a strong interest in technology and be driven to solve support cases. You have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, you have the ability to tackle complex problems and find solutions to them. You also put the customer at the center to provide the best possible service.

Experience:

• Post-secondary education in IT
• You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working in Linux
• Skills in networking

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SQL
