We are now strengthening our team and are looking for a driven programmer for a full-time position at our headquarters in Umeå.

Toontrack is a leading developer of software for music creation. Our customers range from home users to renowned producers, songwriters, and artists who use our sounds and tools daily to create music. The foundation of our business idea is that it should be easy to make music with the help of a computer. This has permeated our operations since the company was founded in 1999 with a vision to create the world’s best virtual drummer. Since then, we have changed the market for computer-assisted music production.

Today, we are the largest in the industry within the drum segment and are making strong progress in several other areas. We employ over 45 people and have offices in Umeå and Chicago, with the whole world as our market. Our most well-known brands are EZdrummer, Superior Drummer, EZbass, EZmix, and EZkeys.

Your Responsibilities

As a programmer at Toontrack, you will play a vital role in the development of our existing and new software. You will be part of a team with programmers, UX designers, and GUI graphics designers, working on parallel projects that can last from six to 36 months.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Programming
• Performance analysis and code optimization
• Maintenance and updating of our existing software

Your Profile

We prefer that you have a university degree or equivalent work experience in:

• C++
• Visual Studio or Xcode

It is a merit if you have experience with:

• Samplers and Romplers.
• MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface)
• Electronics
• Good knowledge of Toontrack's products

It is important to us that you share our interest in making music, songwriting, and sound engineering, and are accustomed to working with plugins and programs like Pro Tools, Cubase, or similar, as this will be a significant part of your everyday life. For us, it is obvious that you communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
