About the assignment
We are now looking for employees in first line support for our client, who operates in the public sector. The assignment starts in April 2026 and is expected to last about 6 months. The scope is full-time and the placement for the assignment is on-site at the client's premises in Umeå. Working hours are weekdays between 08:00-16:30.
Before the start of the assignment, a security interview and background check must be conducted.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you are the face of the IT unit where you provide support and answer questions regarding IT and telecommunications. The first line support currently handles about 800 cases per month. You will primarily work via phone and computer, but visits from the authority's staff may occur. The IT unit's area of operation includes user support, server operations, networks, storage/backup, system administration, and IT security. Therefore, we see that you have good knowledge in the field and experience in this area. Furthermore, the IT unit is responsible for, among other things, video systems, the phone exchange, mobile phones, printers, and copiers.
Your qualifications
Approved high school diploma
1 year of work experience from previous work in user support
Good knowledge of general IT support/troubleshooting and user support
Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Linux, Active Directory, client hardware
Communicates fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Good social skills
